CHALLENGE:

Engage an international delegation of 800 entrepreneurs with a diverse array of off-site affinity, recreation, dining and leisure programs scattered around the ancient city of Istanbul.

OUR EVENT-SOLUTION:

A selection of our once-in-a-lifetime programming included:

• Transforming the historic Grand Bazaar into stunning banquet space featuring folkloric music, ethnic dance and authentic cuisine.

• Entertainment at off-site venues balanced the hip and contemporary (the trendy waterfront Cubuklu Club 29 and others) and the historical and cultural (the ancient Roman reservoir, the Binbirdirek underground cistern, and others).

• Private meetings were arranged and personal introductions made to local business leaders and influential professionals including:
  The first woman in an Islamic country to design a Mosque.
  A member of the Sultan’s family, at the original Topkapi Palace.
  Shop owners at the Grand Bazaar, learning about their businesses.
  ”Meet the Makers” of the Oriental Scents at their Production site

• Finding inspiration in Istanbul’s historic crossroads of ancient cultures, our team synthesized a collective wish-making and paper-lantern release ceremony that celebrated multicultural peace and provided a memorable bonding experience for 800 attendees and family members.
