Safety Means Sustainability

There's a new twist in this age of social distancing where the crowded city centers and packed beaches seem unthinkable. But let’s face it, most major tourist destinations were already being pushed to the limits by over-tourism - damaging the visitor experience, local life quality and environment.

As travel and events resume, people will not want to stand in line or be in a crowd so they will look for places they can enjoy the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Traveling ‘like a local’ will take a whole new meaning leading to a deeper connection to the local people, traditions and customs.

With safety, security and health infrastructure as key considerations, the tried and true destinations will need itineraries that re-imagine how the destination is explored – ushering in a new era of sustainable travel and events.
