Sample Itinerary


Day 1

Arrival & Welcome

Set out on an overnight flight to Berlin. Arrive late morning and transfer to the hotel in the center of Berlin - just a short walk away from the Brandenburg Gate.

In the afternoon, meet fellow particpants at a Welcome Cocktail Reception and embark on a walking tour of Berlin’s city center. Your tour ends at the German Reichstag – the iconic Parliament building - where you are served an incredible rooftop dinner, overlooking the city of Berlin.


Day 2

Champions Meet Champions

Your morning is dedicated to the Champions of Berlin before the fall of the wall in 1989. Enjoy exclusive access to the Berlin Wall Museum where you meet and learn from the Champions:

• A Berlin Wall refugee who risked his life trying to escape.
• A former MI6 agent who operated in Berlin – East & West.

Watch the wall come to life as you walk the wall together and listen to these Champions share their life changing experiences.

For lunch, enjoy the culinary highlights of East Germany at a special GDR restaurant. Your journey continues with the next Champion - an East Side Gallery Artist - at the iconic East Side Gallery. Tour and learn from the artist himself as he shares the insights and history of the Gallery.

Your evening is dedicated to the illustrious contemporary Berlin restaurant scene. A dinner offering famed German specialties - Berlin style.


Day 3

The Past

A day discovering Berlin’s past starts on the outskirts of Berlin, to the Villa of Wannsee - where the Final Solution was finalized. An expertly-guided tour lends insight into how it all happened.

After lunch, journey deeper into history with a Curator-led visit of the Palace of Sanssoucci – home of Frederic the Great .

What could be more iconic than a German Beer house? Enjoy sausages and German beer for dinner.


Day 4

Made In Germany

Berlin is the Mecca of start-ups‘s, home to 40.000 new start-up companies each year.

Meet and learn from the Champions behind Berlin‘s most innovative start-ups, as they share their insights into what “Made in Germany“ means today and in the future.

Innovation continues at dinner with a visit to a gastronomical institution that has turned an old industrial building into a new culinary hotspot. Nouvelle Cuisine – Berlin style.


Day 5

The Diversity

More than 190 different nationalities call Berlin home, including over 1 million refugees who arrived in the Refugee Crisis in 2015.

Today you set out to meet the people that make this city so diverse as you meet Refugees that live in the city as much as members of local communities. Share lunch with them and learn about the challenges and experiences they have faced in this diverse city.


Day 6

My Berlin

Spend your morning with Berlin Champions that have left a mark in the city. Choose a tour with:

• A local architect, who takes you “backstage“ - where the best of Berlin is to be found!
• A Jewish community member, who shows you the places where he and his family live

Lunch will be a traditional “German CurryWurst“ – a must have on any Berlin trip.

The afternoon will be at your disposal before you enjoy a grand farewell dinner in the bustling city-center.


Day 7

Departure

Your last day in Berlin is to say goodbye to all the friends made and to take with you the things you’ve seen, people you’ve met, and lessons you’ve learned! One last chance to reminisce and say farewell to your fellow friends.
